New York: On September 1st 2008, The Waldorf=Astoria will unveil a luxurious new Spa and Fitness Center. Guerlain, a subsidiary of the renowned luxury goods conglomerate LVMH, has joined with The Waldorf=Astoria in announcing this major addition to the hotel. Expanding The Waldorf’s already impressive list of amenities, the spa will ensure an extraordinary rejuvenation experience for every guest. Featuring 16 treatment rooms—each with its own private bath and dressing room—and two relaxation lounges, this $21.5 million facility will occupy much of the 19th floor and require closing of the current spa operations.
