Hercanos palace
A magic place in Amman – Jordan, its name is the Hercanos palace, and it was built by a leader named Hercanos in the second century BC.
The local name means the palace of slaves
The palace consists of two floors, basement was used for storage and servants and guard rooms, the Upper floor was not completed due to the suicide of Hercanos.Hercanos hanged himself as he was afraid and knew that Antokios the Greek leader was coming to kill him.
The palace is of a very spiritual and architectural beauty, ,in every corner at the top of the palace there are huge statues with lions, lionesses, and a number of eagles , they were there to symbolize Hercanos' strength, and what is unique are the magnficent stones the palace was built with, and the beauty of the nature of the valley, like a jewel surrounded by flowers and springs.
