TOMS Shoes
TOMS Shoes recently announced a partnership with Whole Foods Market to produce and sell an exclusive, eco-friendly vegan footwear collection. TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie saw the collaboration as an opportunity for his company, which donates a pair of shoes to children in need for every pair sold, to broaden their consumer market, and in turn, boost their aid efforts. "I wanted to find a way for more people to be able to truly understand the core of Toms Shoes," Mycoskie said. "With the launch of the eco-friendly collection, and our partnership with Whole Foods Market, we will be able to reach even more people, and ultimately give more children their first pair of shoes." The company currently sends shoes to Argentina, South Africa and Ethiopia and is planning to begin donations in the U.S.
