The 33rd Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF)




The Hong Kong International Film Festival is one of Asia's most reputable platforms for filmmakers, film professionals and filmgoers from all over the world to launch new works and experience the latest outstanding cinema projects. Screening over 300 titles from 50 countries, including 20 world premieres, 17 international premieres and 30 Asian premieres, the festival reaches an audience of 580,000 people as well as 4,500 business executives who attend the ancillary event - the Hong Kong Film and Television Market (FILMART). In addition, festival-goers can experience several red carpet premiere events, over a hundred "Meeting-the-audience" sessions, seminars, exhibitions, parties celebrating the festival community, and much more.
